Create your account
Sign up with a wallet, a passkey, Google, X or an emailed link. Your account comes with paper money, wallets ftw.trade holds for you, and an assistant that sets things up.
Open ftw.trade and pick a way in:
- Wallet: sign a message with MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet or any browser wallet (Sign-In with Ethereum). Nothing is sent and no gas is paid.
- Passkey: Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key. No password to remember.
- Google or X.
- Email: we send you a sign-in link.
You can add more ways in later, under Account settings → Ways to sign in, so losing one never locks you out. Linking your X account there also lets your vaults show your verified handle.
An agent can make its own account with a wallet key: npx ftw-trade login creates a key and signs up with it. See The ftw-trade CLI (coming to npm closer to launch).
What you get#
- A main wallet on every EVM chain and on Solana, the account's own, for deposits and withdrawals.
- A paper balance of play ETH, so you can build and run everything before any real money moves.
- Home, an assistant that knows the platform. Tell it what you want ("run a momentum strategy on ETH perps on paper") and it builds it with you. See The assistant.
- A short tour of the app, which you can skip and restart from Home at any time.
Basic or Dev mode#
The first time you sign in, ftw.trade asks what brings you here.
| Mode | For | The sidebar shows |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Trading and investing | Home, Dashboard, Projects, Markets, Portfolio, Vaults, Wallets |
| Dev | Building and coding | Everything in Basic, plus Sources, Flow, Log, Monitor, Strategies, Scripts, AI & API, Modules and Docs |
Switch any time with the Basic | Dev toggle at the foot of the sidebar, or under Account. Every page still opens by link in either mode.
Keep your account safe#
- Taking a key out of ftw.trade (key export) and withdrawing to an outside address both ask you to have signed in within the last 15 minutes.
- Account → Security lists every device signed in, lets you sign out one or all of them, and shows recent security activity.
