Dashboards
Shareable pages for a strategy, a vault or a project, built from widgets and custom charts in config, by hand or by your AI, checked for what a reader would see wrong, and shared by link.
A project's tabs are its dashboards. Each tab holds up to 24 widgets, arranged by dragging and resizing, or written as config.
Widgets#
| Widget | Shows |
|---|---|
| Stats | Three to five headline figures: return, P&L, drawdown, Sharpe, money in |
| Chart | A pool or series, with the wallets' fills drawn on it |
| Performance | Value over time |
| Wallets, activity | Balances and holdings; every fill |
| Strategy, log | A run's state; what it decided, as a live terminal feed |
| Liquidity, perps | Ranges with start and stop; positions with distance to liquidation |
| Shortcut, knobs | Buttons that trade; a run's settings to turn |
| Note, image, html | Words, pictures and headings |
| Viz | A custom chart (below) |
Custom charts#
A viz widget is a chart in config, the way a Dune query is: a source gives rows (wallets, positions, fills, P&L by origin, a feed, a pool's candles, a run's curve, its metrics, a vault's NAV, a script's emitted rows), a transform filters, buckets, groups and aggregates them, and a view draws them.
- Views: counter, table, bar, line, area, pie, stats, monthly returns grid, heatmap, surface, candles, and:
- forecast: a series' history fanning into a hundred futures built from its own recent moves, with p10, median and p90 marked;
- signal: a strategy's lines over the market's price, the gap between two shaded by which leads, a mark at each buy and sell.
- Window math in config: cumulative and compounded returns, running max and drawdown, change, rolling mean, sum, std and Sharpe, so a performance dashboard needs no code.
Charts are drawn by ftw.trade's own WebAssembly and WebGL charting library, fast with large series.
A dashboard for a strategy in one click#
Add dashboard on a running strategy (or add_strategy_dashboard) builds a group of tabs for it: an Overview with its headline figures, a forecast fan of its market, its P&L beside its live log and latest trades; then Positions, Trades, Signals, Risk and Performance (with its optimization's landscape). Tabs that would be empty are left out.
Let your AI design it#
Ask Claude or ChatGPT to "make a great dashboard for my momentum run". It writes the whole design in one call, then runs check_dashboard, which reads every chart's rows the way a shared link draws them and lists what a person would see wrong (a stretched counter, an empty chart, an unformatted column), and fixes them until the score clears.
Share it#
- A dashboard link shows the dashboard to anyone, read-only, with the strategy's description at the top. Shared links show what a run did, never its code.
- A vault page (
/v/<id>) is a dashboard with the vault's branding and a deposit form. - Give either your own look: colors, a logo, a hero image and fonts.
